24.10.2012 A 2.8-Mpixel camera outfitted with a Sony ICX687 EXview HAD CCD image sensor is the latest addition to Point Grey Research’s Flea3 family of Gigabit Ethernet cameras.
The FL3-GE-28S4 comes in a tiny 29×29×30-mm cube package and weighs just 38 grams without optics for use in factory automation and machine vision applications.
The camera is available in both monochrome and color versions. It operates at 15 fps at full 1928×1448-pixel resolution and can operate faster using smaller regions of interest. Standard features include optoisolated GPIO, an on-camera frame buffer, and nonvolatile user data storage, as well as hardware and software triggers for synchronizing multiple cameras or coordinating with external devices.
Compliance with the GigE Vision V1.2 specification allows the FL3-GE-28S4 to work seamlessly with software from Cognex, MathWorks, Matrox, MVTec, and National Instruments. It is also supported by Point Grey’s FlyCapture software development kit. |
