Sandisk ATA Flash PC Cards provide high performance solutions for large data and file storage. These solid state cards are extremely rugged and provide high shock resistance unavailable on rotating media style cards. Both the standard and industrial grade lines come in two temperature ranges: commercial and extended. Industrial grade cards feature higher performance, endurance, environmental resistance, and a much longer warranty.
ATA Flash Cards are designed specifically as mass storage devices. They include an intelligent controller providing these key features: flash media control, PC Card ATA (IDE) interface, and a sophisticated defect and error management system. This system is analogous to the systems found in all magnetic disk drives. ATA Flash Cards are completely transparent to host systems and do not consume any user data space. They are 100% compatible with operating systems, utilities, and application programs supporting PC Card and IDE disk drives
