Intel(R) PRO/1000 Gigabit Server Adapter PN(717040-003) provides an outstanding high-bandwidth server solution for Gigabit networks. It supports 1000BASE-SX (IEEE 802.3z) Gigabit Ethernet with full duplex capabilities and an SC connector. The highly integrated, Intel designed 82542 LAN controller provides industry leading performance through its integrated PCI controller, memory, and LAN interface. It supports advanced PCI Command set usage, and IP Checksum offloading. The adapter supports both 32bit and 64bit PCI slots for maximum throughput. The adapter ships with a complete driver suite along with advanced server software features such as Adaptive Load Balancing, Gigabit EtherChannel*, and Adapter Fault Tolerance (AFT) for highly available server.
