FibreArray HI12 is a Host Independent SAN Storage Array ideally suited to scale from Server Attached Storage (SAS) to Storage Area Networks (SANs).

Storage Area Networks (SANs) are preferred for managing and interconnecting high performance servers to storage resources. SANs can scale from a simple single server/storage array to multi-site, tiered Enterprise server and storage networks. Applications include: Centralized Administration, Storage Consolidation, Data Virtualization, LAN Free and Serverless backup, load balancing and performance management, managed replication and redundancy for high availability and disaster recovery. The FibreArray HI12 provides the high availability features and performance for the most demanding storage networking applications.

  15,000 rpm dual loop Fibre Channel drives.
• Drive Roaming – Unique drive signatures allow removal and replacement of drives in any order for security purposes. Drive order is no longer important.
• COD (Configuration on Disk) – FibreArray HI12 stores a backup copy of array configuration on disks for added data integrity.
• Heavy Duty Enclosure – Features all aluminum construction, hot swappable major components including drives, power supplies and fans with compact 4U rack or tower configuration.
• SAN Management Software – Software options include FC Access™, SANfinity™ and SANfinity™ DSP. Take advantage of Storage virtualization and secure SAN volume management with FC Access software. SANfinity uses a client server architecture to manage multiple FibreArray HI12 and FibreArray AA arrays from a single management console. SANfinity DSP DMI Service Provider software allows monitoring and alert notification from Enterprise Network Management platforms including Tivoli Netview, HP Openview, Intel Landesk, CA Unicenter TNG and more. Use SANfinity with SANfinity DSP to provide seamless network wide administration and management of Raidtec SAN arrays.
